Murder in the Crazy Mountains is a fast paced, humorous cozy murder mystery set in modern day Montana where the action revolves around a dog rescue and the women who run it. Readers who like dogs, strong women, and the Montana outdoors will enjoy this entertaining book.
K.L. Borges is orginally from Idaho. After an early career as an environmental engineer, she and her husband settled in Billings Montana to raise their three children. K.L. taught mathematics in a private high school (Go, Rams!) for a decade before retiring, and becoming an author. She and her husband are often found exploring the Montana outdoors with their two blue heelers. She is an active volunteer in the animal rescue community of south-central Montana, a member of the Billings Gem and Mineral Society, and belongs to Sisters in Crime and the Authors Guild. Murder in the Crazy Mountains is her first book.
