Gail Cushman and Robert “Cowboy Bob” Mitchell
Gail used to be an Idaho girl, but now she’s a Montana girl, married to a Cowboy, owns a pickup, and has a dog. It doesn’t get better than that!
She’s a Vietnam Era Marine veteran, serving as a pay officer. She taught high school, served as principal and superintendent of four school districts, and was Director of Education for the Idaho’s Department of Correction. Along the way, she married, had two kids, and traveled.
Born in Idaho, now transplanted to Montana, she is married to Robert Mitchell, AKA Cowboy Bob. She writes daily: blogs, stories, books, and columns for the Stillwater County News and writes a regular humorous blog on Facebook. You can check it out at Wrinkly Bits + (Fans of Gail Cushman). New blogs come out at least once a week, sometimes more often.
Cowboy Bob is a retired Montana rancher, who loves adventure, and the Montana lifestyle. He claims to be a cowboy, night calver, perfume tester, airplane mechanic, expert witness, pilot and wooer of widow women. Since he and Gail married, he’s joined her writing, becoming a Cowboy Poet, presenting cowboy poetry and stories at numerous events, and is writing a book about a night calver, Sagebrush Vigilantes.
