Nikki Markle from Beartooth Humane Alliance (BHA) teaches kids to be safe around dogs. The goal of the program is to help children gain empathy for animals while also teaching them how to prevent dog bites. Nikki’s dog, Jet, will be her happy-go-lucky assistant.
We are also collecting donations for BHA this week. Their wish list includes: Dog and cat food; 1 and 2-gallon sized plastic bags for packaging pet food; kitten formula, non clumping cat litter, toys for dogs and cats; and short sided litter boxes.
