Elder Abuse by DSVS

Who: Elizabeth Hickson (Violence Prevention Educator) and Libby Johnson (Co-Director)

What:  What is elder abuse, and what can be done about it? This presentation will explain the scope of the issue and types of elder abuse. The facilitators will discuss how to go about reporting elder abuse or how to implement protective measures including awareness of the types of financial scams that target elders. Resources specific to Stillwater County will be provided for all who attend. Domestic and Sexual Violence Services is a nonprofit organization that serves victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and/or stalking in Carbon or Stillwater Counties.
