In honor of National Poetry Month, we will be hosting our second annual Cowboy Poetry event. Our poets are: Dennis Lent, Penny Smith, Judy Combs, Wim Lienemann, and Robert L. Mitchell. For some toe-tapping fun, the Webb Family Band will be playing some classic country music.
We will be offering an affordable lunch. Burgers will be cooked by the Montana Stockgrowers Association. Hot dogs, chips, cookies, and drinks will also available. Thank you to Columbus IGA for donating $75 to our cause! Your purchase will help us provide Wonderbooks for kids. These are books that include an audio recording so they can read while they listen. This is a great tool to improve literacy skills!
There is no cover charge to attend. Bring your whole family for poetry that ranges from moving to hilarious, some great county music, and a lunch that supports literacy!
