A book club for adults, but with a short story because sometimes there isn’t enough time to read an entire book. We will discuss “A Jury of Her Peers” by Susan Glaspell. Two women uncover evidence of a neighbor’s abuse and motive for murder, which they hide from male investigators. It explores themes of gender roles, female solidarity, isolation, and rural life in the early 1900s, highlighting how women’s knowledge is dismissed.
Pre-registration is not required but requested. See below to RSVP.
We are no longer offering remote Zoom options for this event.
