Do you love Stillwater County Library and want to play a part in supporting and growing services and programs? We currently have some open volunteer opportunities.
*Book Sale: In 2024, the book sale will be held March 16-23 (closed Sunday). We need volunteers to help set up the sale on March 15th and tear down on March 25th (this involves setting up/tearing down tables and moving a lot of books). Volunteers will be able to shop on March 15th and will receive 5 free books upon completion of their volunteer shift. *Stillwater County Library Foundation: Stillwater County Library Foundation’s mission is to raise vital funds for capital improvements and the expansion of quality services, programs, and events offered by the Stillwater County Library. This is the group that will be instrumental in raising funds for a larger library building! They need volunteers who excel at larger-scale fundraising and those who are willing to lend a hand at events. *Stillwater County Library’s Friends of the Library: The Friends of the Library group is in its foundational stage but is seeking volunteers that will assist with planning and conducting smaller-scale fundraising events. Funds raised will be instrumental in creating an improved space and adding or improving services and programs.
