We have laptops, hotspots and iPads available to borrow from the library! Before you come, check out our policies:
Checkout Details:
- Checkout period: 14 days
- May renew up to two (2) times if no one else is wiating
- One item per household at a time (hotspots may be checked out in tandem with iPads and laptops)
- Available for checkout by those 18 years of age or older with a valid Stillwater County Library card in good standing
- Patron’s up-to-date contact information must be on file
Returns:
- Please fully charge the battery before returning the device.
- Return all of the item’s contents together, including carrying case and chargers.
- Items must be returned in person to the Stillwater County Library. They may not be returned in any book drops.
- Overdue Mobile Hotspots will be disabled after 24 hours if it is not returned to the library.
Policies:
- Any attempt to alter data or alter the configuration of the device is strictly prohibited and may be considered an act of vandalism and subject to full replacement cost value.
- Devices are considered library materials and are subject to all applicable policies and procedures governing them.
- Use of the device is subject to the Terms of Stillwater County Library Internet Use Policy.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for the use of the device by minors.
- Stillwater County Library is not responsible for personal information shared over the Internet or for information and websites accessed using the device, or any misuse, harm, or any other result due to the use of the device.
- The Library reserves the right to rescind privileges for the checkout of items if these guidelines are not followed.
Borrowing and using our devices are free! However, there are fees for lost and damaged items. Please see cost chart before checking out each device.
