Bystander Intervention with DSVS

Who: Libby Johnson (Co-Director of Programs) and Elizabeth Hickson (Violence Prevention Educator)
What: Have you ever witnessed harassment or a violent situation and didn’t know what to do? DSVS teaches the strategies (5Ds) to intervene safely as a bystander. This presentation explains the bystander effect and gives participants numerous scenarios to discuss and think through. Domestic and Sexual Violence Services is a nonprofit organization that serves victims of domestic violence, sexual violence, human trafficking, and/or stalking in Carbon or Stillwater Counties.
