Our misson at Stillwater County Library is to provide education, inspiration, innovation, and support, which means we are the place all can come to learn, to socialize, to create, and to improve your life or the lives of your loved ones. As you’ll see below, 2023-2024 gave us many opportunities to interact with the residents of Stillwater County, and we are honored that you choose to spend time at the library or at library programs. Every year, we strive to bring new programs and new services. As many have heard, Stillwater County Library Foundation has purchased a book mobile, which we call a mobile library, because, like our brick-and-mortar location, it will offer more than “just books.” There is no doubt that books are important, a library would not be the same without them; however, we understand meeting needs extends beyond books. We are thrilled that the Stillwater Mobile Library will allow us to reach more people in the county. Look for it in your town in 2025! We are excited to offer new services and programs in the 2024-2025 fiscal year, and always welcome input and suggestions.
