This is the second book in the Sandhamn murder series and, once again, it is set during the summer
on the Swedish Archipelago. The story begins when a prominent yacht club member is
assassinated right at the beginning of a famous sail boat race. We follow detectives Thomas &
Margit leading the case, and Thomas’ closest friend Nora, who is a banking attorney. We meet
so many different entwining characters that this book felt fast paced and kept me more engaged
than book one! I had zero clue who the murderer could have been because of all these characters
and the drama of Nora’s relationship with her husband got even more intense that I found myself
yelling at the book (in a good way!). If murder mysteries are your comfort reads, I would 100%
recommend this series! I can’t wait to see what happens next during book three, Guiltless.
