Kids will hear several stories then get to do an activity, such as a craft, STEM/STEAM, or physical activity. Some weeks there will be songs, fingerplays, or flannel board stories as well. Calling all poets, storytellers and spoken word artists for open mic poetry reading at the library. Readings may be personal or a favorite author's. Experience local voices in celebration of National Poetry Month. Doors open at 3:30 pm for refreshments and sign-up, reading begins at 4 pm. No need to read a poem to attend.
